Childhood Immunization

Immunization is the most effective way to protect yourself and your family against some very serious infections. Child immunizations usually are given at well baby check-up visit.

To help keep you and your family healthy, Ontario is expanding its free vaccine program:

• Rotavirus oral vaccine for infants 6-24 weeks of age
• Second dose of chickenpox vaccine for children 1-11 years of age
• Whooping cough booster vaccine for adults 19-64 years of age
